Making It Official

Well, it's official... we have completed our readoption for the boys. While it seemed like a daunting prospect, it really was not bad at all. We were able to do it ourselves (with a little bit of help from the secretary in the county office).

The judge gave the boys American Flag pins, which is a tradition in our county. I don't think they have any clue what that means, but they were very proud of their souveniers. We, of course, are pleased to see that the adoption is officially recognized by the U.S. courts as well. Now, on to permanent citizenship and passports!

We did take the boys out for a special lunch to celebrate. It's happening slowly, but we are becoming family.
